Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) announces new career opportunities specifically for residents of Balochistan Province. QESCO is seeking the services of Security Services Provider Companies/Firms to provide security staff in the mentioned districts.
QESCO is a public sector utility and the largest distribution company in Pakistan in terms of area coverage. Its operational jurisdiction encompasses 32 districts of Balochistan Province, excluding the Lasbela district. QESCO oversees this area through six operation circles: Central, Loralai, Pishin, Sibi, Mekran & Khuzdar. The primary objective of QESCO is to ensure a reliable and safe electricity supply to consumers within its jurisdiction.
- Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) was established as a public limited company on May 13, 1998, under the Companies Ordinance 1984.
- QESCO began its operations on July 1, 1998.
- It was formed as part of the corporatization and commercialization process of WAPDA, assuming the responsibilities of WAPDA’s assets and liabilities.
- Presently, Distribution Companies (DISCOs), including QESCO, are administered by the Ministry of Water and Power, Government of Pakistan.
